Mark C. Bentz joined the Kloster-Northrop Funeral Home in 1990 and worked along with James F. Kloster until 1996, when he took over the funeral home and the name was changed to the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home. The firm originated in 1901 by William McLean, which was later operated by his son Charles. In 1966, Mr. Kloster purchased the firm and the name was changed to the McLean-Kloster Funeral Home. In 1988, Mr. Kloster purchased the Northrop Funeral Home which was founded by Harry Northrop, Jr. and the name was charged to the Kloster-Northrop Funeral Home.
