Adelheid (Heidi) Johanna Ruhnke, 91, of New Hartford, NY, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 in New Hartford, NY. She was born October 6, 1929, in Krefeld Germany, the daughter of the late Johann Peter Kluth, and Luise Icks. Adelheid grew up in Krefeld Germany during war time and relocated to England, and then later moved to Toronto, Canada. She met her former husband, Mario G. Ruhnke in Toronto, Ontario in 1960. Her and Mario had their first daughter Colleen M. Ruhnke in Toronto in 1965 and then moved to Utica, New York in 1967. She then had Mark Peter Ruhnke in 1968 in Utica. She was a loving mother and kind hearted. She is survived by her daughter, Colleen M. Wendlandt of Atlanta, GA; Son, Mark P. Ruhnke of New Hartford, NY; a granddaughter, Hanna Sophia Baron of Atlanta, GA; three grandsons, Christian Wendlandt of Denver CO, Wade Ruhnke and Owen Ruhnke of New Hartford, NY; and daughter-in-law Allison M Ruhnke.
