IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Andrew King
Pelli
August 4, 1962 – May 4, 2025
Andrew "Andy" King Pelli, 62, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, following a brief illness. Born on August 4, 1962, in Utica, he was the son of the late Albert Richard "Dick" Pelli and Bonnie L. Gregory (Koehler).
Andy had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, finding joy in fishing and catching frogs. He delighted in performing magic tricks for his brothers, sharing the wonder of illusion. A devoted enthusiast of good food, he had a particular fondness for souvlaki from Symeon's in Yorkville. He also had a great love for sweets—especially anything peanut butter—and, in recent months, he took pleasure in enjoying Big Macs and fries from McDonald's.
Andy is survived by his loving mother, Bonnie L. Gregory, of Florida; his brothers, Christopher Jude Pelli and Russell Jude Pelli, along with their mother, Mary Pelli-Maggio; stepbrothers, Greg Gregory, Gary Gregory, and Matthew Martin, as well as Matthew's mother, Dee Santiago Pelli. He also leaves behind his aunts, Mary Ann Daley and Teresa Olivadoti; his uncle, Anthony Stancato; and several cherished cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Albert Richard "Dick" Pelli; and his brother, Steven Jude Pelli.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Chris and Dee for their unwavering support during Andy's illness.
There will be no calling hours or services held.
Arrangements are with the Mark C. Bentz Funeral Service, Inc., New Hartford.
