Miss Angeline M. DiPierro, 99, of Utica, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Presbyterian Home for Central NY. She was born October 3, 1909, in Italy, the daughter of the late Francisco and Giovanna DiPierro. At an young age, along with her family, she came to the United States settling in Utica. For many years, Miss DiPierro was employed with the Utica Psychiatric Center, retiring in 1974. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church. Miss DiPierro is survived by a niece, Veronica DiLeo of Carmichael, CA; and several great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters, Mary DiLeo, Velicia DeRosa, Rose Cassino and Nellie DiPierro; and a brother, Joseph DiPierro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 9:30 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church, Utica. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Utica.
