Miss Angeline M. Paternoster, 96, formerly of New Hartford, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV. She was born December 30, 1911, in Utica, the daughter of the late Antonio and Lucia Castronovo Paternoster and was educated in Utica schools. For many years, Miss Paternoster was employed with General Electric in Utica, retiring in 1976. She was a parishioner of the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Utica and was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. She resided in Las Vegas, NV since 2005. Miss Paternoster is survived by her nieces and nephews and their families, Barbara Paternoster of Albany, Tony Paternoster of Albany, Lou Ann Spatola of Utica, Donna and Tony Caltagirone of New Hartford, Gerard and Lisa Bartholomeo, with whom she resided in Las Vegas, NV, John Bartholomeo of Las Vegas, NV and Darlene and Victor Vaccarelli of Utica; a sister-in-law, Ruth Paternoster of New Hartford; as well as many great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Rose Paternoster, Mary Zammiello and Rocatell Bartholomeo; and two brothers, Nick and Anthony Paternoster. The funeral will be Monday morning at 9:45 from the Bentz & Amodio Funeral Service, Inc., 470 French Rd., Utica/New Hartford and 10:30 from the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Utica, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday afternoon from 1-3.
