Carolann Wheelock, 76, of New Hartford, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, with family by her side. She was born December 7, 1943, in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Dr. Leonard and Mary O'Kane Marrone. She was a graduate of New Hartford High School and received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. In 1980, at Four Square Gospel Church, Utica, she married Leon R. Wheelock. Carolann was a Registered Nurse with various nursing homes throughout the area and owned and operated Mary Hart Solutions, a home healthcare company in New Hartford. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Leon; her brother, James Marrone of Italy; and several nieces and nephews. Per her wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are with Mark C. Bentz Funeral Service, Inc., New Hartford.
