Charles A. "Chuck" Niznik, 56, of Utica, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at home, after a long illness. Chuck was born November 10, 1964, in Utica, the son of the late Walter and Shirley Keene Niznik and was a graduate of UFA. He worked as a skilled worker for several companies over the years, the last being Orion Bus Co. and Utica Metal Products. Chuck was married at one time to Donna Cady. As a younger man, Chuck loved camping, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was a member of AMVETS. He is survived by two sisters, Cynthia (David) Benoit of Deerfield and Diane (Shawn) Comer of Skaneateles; one brother, Thomas Niznik of Utica; and one grandson, Nicholas Niznik of Utica. He also leaves, two aunts; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his much-loved canine companion, Chipper. Besides his parents; he was predeceased by his son, Joshua Niznik. Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Utica. Private interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro.
