Constance E. "Connie" Foster, 81, of New Hartford, passed away March 7th 2018 at the Masonic Care Community, with her family by her side. She was born May 14, 1936, in Utica, the daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor Kelly Eaton, was a graduate of St. Francis deSales High School and continued on to earn a degree in nursing. In 1961, in Utica, she married Kenneth E. Foster, a loving union of 57 years. For over 30 years, she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Faxton Hospital. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Connie loved spending time playing cards and games as a family. She loved the Holidays, especially Christmas. She always provided a very special Christmas for the "kids". Connie was an avid NY Yankees fan, bowler, reader and gardener. Most of all she loved her family trips to the Adirondacks. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; five children, Robert (Judy) Butler of New Hartford, Randy Butler of Rochester, Rick (Debbie) Butler of Brunswick, Barbara (Roger) Bullock of Schuyler and Patricia (William) Mammone of New Hartford; seven grandchildren, Robert (Virginia)Butler, Amanda (Julio) Butler, Brett (Brittany) Bullock, Ryan Butler, Joseph Mammone, Anastasia Mammone and Jackson Mammone; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Terry (Beverly) Donlon of Baltimore, MD; a sister, Barbara (Melvin) Foster of Utica; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Downey. Calling hours will be Saturday March 10th from 4-7 pm at the Bentz Funeral Service, Inc., 13 Oxford Road, New Hartford. A brief service will follow the calling hours with Rev. David Werly officiating. Private interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff of Queens Neighborhood at the Masonic Care Community for all their wonderful care and compassion.
