David E. "Dave" Dutcher, 79, of New Hartford, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, with his family by his side. He was born May 28, 1942, in Utica, the son of the late Wallace and Dorothy Andrews Dutcher. On March 18, 1972, in the Poland United Methodist Church, he married Shari K. Lauterbach. For many years, Mr. Dutcher was a welder and body shop mechanic at Waste Management of New York in Utica. Dave was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Shari; two daughters, Tricia Dutcher (Don Sleezer) of Whitesboro and Cindy Paen (Reggie) of Florida; two sons, Jeff Dutcher (Kelly) of Florida and Ray Dutcher of Nevada; a sister, Linda Angrisano of Clark Mills; eight grandchildren, Deana, Amanda, Jeremy, Thomas, Nicole, Cristin, Jake and James; twelve great grandchildren, Reina, Jameson, Aurora, Austin, Jason, Adelynn, Jody, McKenzie, Kora, Peyton, Leah and Zayne; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Daniel Dutcher; and two brothers, Eddie and Kenny Dutcher. Graveside services will be private at Norwich Corners Cemetery with Rev. Ed Townsend officiating.
