Donald R. (Don) Ward, 43, of Academy Rd., passed away Tuesday October 26, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica. He was born July 1, 1967, in Hamilton, the son of Dale Hyman Ward and the late Thomas E. Ward and was educated in Brookfield schools. At one time, Don was employed as a truck driver for Blankenship Trucking of Atlanta, GA. He is survived by a son, Brandon Ward; a daughter, April Ward; his mother, Dale Ward; a stepdaughter, Jenna Cheseboro; and two sisters, June Owen and Julie Furgison, all of Brookfield; two brothers, Robert Perry of Brookfield and Thomas D. Ward of Utica; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 10 am at the Brookfield Rural Cemetery, with Pastor Mark Thall officiating. Arrangements are with the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, Waterville.
