Doris Angus, 88, of Brookfield, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the Heritage Healthcare Center, Utica. She was born July 18, 1919, in Little Falls, the daughter of the late Charles and Mae Roberts Angus. She was educated in Little Falls and Herkimer schools and attended the Utica School of Commerce. At one time, Doris was married to the late Charles Getman. For many years she was employed with General Electric in Utica, retiring in 1986. She is survived by four children, Leslie (Nancy) Getman of New Hartford, Cynthia (David) Crandall of Brookfield, Jeffrey Getman of New Berlin and Jacquelin Gordon of Mt. Upton and Kevin Gordon of New Hartford; a sister, Florence Angus of South Edmeston; a brother, Charles Angus of MO; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Sadie Schram. Services will be at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Guilderland. Arrangements are with the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, Waterville.
