Doris E. Funnell, 91, formerly of North Utica, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at the Harding Nursing Home. She was born August 25, 1918, in Utica, the daughter of the late Clayton and Esther Elliott, and was educated in Utica schools. In 1972, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Utica, she married William G. Funnell. He passed away in 2005. Mrs. Funnell was employed with Oneida National Bank in Utica, prior to her retirement. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Waterville Cemetery, with Pastor Doug Satterlee officiating. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, Waterville.
