Miss Doris Kauzman, 64, a resident of Chestnut House at the Sitrin Health Care Center, passed away November 14, 2011. Doris was born December 7, 1946 in New Rochelle, NY. She was a resident at the Chestnut House at the Sitrin Health Care Center. Doris was traditionally shy until she got to know those around her and her surroundings. Once comfortable, she was able to enjoy the companionship of housemates and staff at her Catholic Charities and Gan Kavod residences and at her ARC day program. She is survived by her friends at Gan Kavod, Catholic Charities and the ARC of Oneida County. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 10 am at Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Bentz & Amodio Funeral Service, Inc., Utica/New Hartford.
