Edward F. Roberts, 36, of New Hartford, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, after losing his battle with alcoholism. Edward was born on August 1, 1973, the son of Susan and the late Robert Roberts. Edward is survived by his twin sister, Alberta Roberts and fiance, Matti Leetmaa, and his brother, Robert M. Roberts, both of Utica; his foster parent, Sharon Sylvester, New Hartford; and his aunt, Dottie Gokey, Clinton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins; a niece and a nephew; and his feline companion, Molly. Edward was predeceased by his sister, Kelly, and foster parent, Rich Sylvester. Edward was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor. We will all miss his laugh and love of a good prank. Edward had a special bond with his brother and sister and always ended each conversation with "I Love You". He also valued and enjoyed his many friendships. Edward may have left our world of struggle, but he has found his new home where his soul may now rest in peace, and he now has a new audience to entertain with his charisma and charm. There will be no calling hours. Friends and family are invited to join us to celebrate Edward's life on Friday, April 2, 2010, from 1-3 p.m. at the Gokey residence at 60 Utica St., Clinton.
