Eric Bullock, Jr., 85, of Waterville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Katherine Luther Home in Clinton. He was born October 14, 1922, in Delhi, the son of the late Eric, Sr. and Edith Doxstader Bullock and was a graduate of Dolgeville High School. Mr. Bullock was a US Army veteran of WW II. In 1952, in Carlsbad, NM, he married Dorree S. (Dee) Lamphere and in 1958 they bought their home in Waterville. Mrs. Bullock passed away in 2004. For most of his life, Mr. Bullock was a carpenter and was employed for many years with General Electric in Utica, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Dolgeville, the Clifford J. Fulmer American Legion Post #92 in Sangerfield, the Dolgeville Grange, the American Legion Post #921 in Dolgeville, the Independant Order of Oddfellows in Dolgeville and was a past commander of the Kayuhoora VFW Post #5380 in Middleville. Eric loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten by his two sons, Topper Bullock of Waterville and Scott Bullock and his special friend, Sue Bell of Deansboro; one sister, Joyce Quinn of Dolgeville; two brothers, Paul Bullock of Albany and Harry Bullock of Gloversville; 13 grandchildren, Brittany, Michael, Jessica, Louis, II, Brandon, Jennifer, Robbin, Andrea, Vicky, Michele, Rodney, James and Christina; and several great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Raymond and Rodney Service; one brother, William Bullock; and two granddaughters, Candace and Nancy. Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family at Tuttle Cemetery in Salisbury Center. Arrangements are with the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, Waterville.
