Eva M. Broderick, 83, of River Rd., passed away Monday, September 22, 2008 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown. She was born August 18, 1925, in Earlville, the daughter of the late Walter and Cecile Morey Martin and was a graduate of Hamilton High School. On October 21, 1944, she married Lawrence R. Broderick. He passed away January 31, 2004. Mrs. Broderick is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carol Corbin of Hamilton, Karen and Alan L. Kachelmyer of Bedford, MA and Joanne and Dr. Carl H. Gibson of San Diego, CA; five grandchildren, Andrew and Susan Corbin and Kari, Eric and Terri Kachelmyer; and a sister, Ann Spader of Geneva. Graveside services will be Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at West Hill Cemetery in Sherburne. Calling hours are Thursday evening from 5-7 at the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, 210 E. Main St, Waterville.
