Florence Crotty Bourdon

Florence died on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Betsy Ross Rehabilitation Center in Rome, NY, in her 100th year.

She was born May 3, 1925 in Reading, PA, the daughter of the late Mary Agnes Barrett and Daniel J. Crotty.

She was predeceased by her husband, John A. Bourdon; two sisters, Marion R. Crotty and Kathryn C. Batson; and a brother, Daniel C. Crotty.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Daniel P. Crotty, Tom (Margaret) Batson, Charles (Susan) Batson, Cathie (Andrew) Mongarella, John (Mary Yvonne) Batson, and Mary (John) Strachen; two stepdaughters, Jane Tritt (Mike) and Ann (David) Sherman and their families.

During her lifetime, Florence had been a resident of New Hartford, NY, Trumansburg, NY, and Sarasota, FL.

There will be no calling hours. All are welcome to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, Oxford Road, New Hartford, on Saturday, September 14th at 10 am.  Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of any flowers and in memory of Florence, donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church.
