Frederick James Gigante, 64, of Utica, formerly of New Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2018. He was born December 13, 1953, in Utica, the son of the late Dominick and Lily Buornat Gigante. Fred was a graduate of New Hartford High School and SUNY at Stony Brook. He is survived by a sister, Judy Smith; two brothers, Richard Gigante and Edward Gigante; and many nieces and nephews. Services are private with interment in Calvary Cemetery.
