Gayle L. Lewis, 64, of 306 Gilmore Place, Utica, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Sitrin Health Care Center. Gayle was born November 2, 1948, in Johnson City, the daughter of the late Verner and Ruth Lewis. She enjoyed creating and listening to music, watching movies, spending time outdoors, Karaoke and socializing with friends. Gayle made many friends during her life time, especially staff and housemates at Broome Developmental Center and Gan Kavod. She is survived by friends at the Gilmore Place IRA, as well as siblings who reside out of the area. A service celebrating her life will be held at her residence, 306 Gilmore Place on Monday, April 22, at 2 pm. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the guidance of the Bentz Funeral Service, Inc.., 470 French Road, Utica/New Hartford.
