Helen M. Graves, 84, of Oriskany Falls, passed away Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Lutheran Home in Clinton. She was born November 7, 1925, in Utica, the daughter of the late Burl and Margaret Donohue Johnson and was educated in Utica schools. At one time, Helen was employed at the Rome Air Base and was later employed at O'Neil's Hotel in Oriskany Falls. She leaves behind special friends, Butch and Pat Strong of Deansboro and their children, Andrea Fellows, Jeremy Strong and Amanda Wilson; Barbara Howlett of Oriskany Falls; Mike and Sonia Marris of Oriskany Falls and their children, Anthony Marris and Jackie Marris; and Kim Gagnon of Waterville. She was predeceased by her twin brother, Herbert Johnson; and her special friend, Donavan Shirley. Graveside services will be Saturday morning at 10 at Hillside Cemetery, Oriskany Falls, with Pastor Brian McCaffrey officiating. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, Waterville.
