Mr. James Auringer, 73, a resident of Maple ICF at Gan Kavod in New Hartford, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013. James was born February 12, 1940, in Parish, New York. He was an 8 year resident of Gan Kavod's Maple ICF. He was always a warm hearted man and will be missed by his Gan Kavod family. He was traditionally shy until he got to know those around him and his surroundings. Once comfortable, he was able to enjoy the companionship of housemates and staff of his Gan Kavod residence. He is survived by two sisters, Lynsey Auringer of San Diego, California and Lillian Simpson of Indiana. He was predeceased by his father, Andrew Auringer and his mother, Mamie (Hubbard) Auringer. Spring interment will be in Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander, New York. Arrangements are under the guidance of the Bentz Funeral Service, Inc., Utica/New Hartford.
