Obituary

James E. (Jay) Heath, Jr., 21, of Quarterline Rd., Hubbardsville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 8, 2009, from injuries sustained in a dirt bike accident. He was born October 7, 1987, in Hamilton, the son of James Sr., and Hope Lane Heath. Jay was a graduate of Hamilton Central School, Class of 2006 and received a degree in culinary arts from BOCES. Jay was also interested in pursuing a career with the DEC. Jay was a loving and devoted son, brother, grandson and great grandson. He was a member of Bass Bro and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, ride his dirt bike and spend time with his family and friends. He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Ronald Tuttle and Douglas Heath, all of Hubbardsville; his grandparents, Doug and Nancy St. Onge of Hamilton and Katherine Cameron of Vernon; his great grandmother, Julia St. Onge of Hamilton; his girlfriend, Dana Tilbe of Bridgewater; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Samuel (Jack) Lane; and his great grandparents, Edwin and Edith Clookey and Paul St. Onge. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 am at Grace Episcopal Church, Waterville, with The Rev. Ann Stillman officiating. Spring interment will be in Graham Cemetery, Hubbardsville. Calling hours are Wednesday evening, 5-8 at the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, 210 E. Main St., Waterville.
