Leroy A. Conklin, 100, of Utica, passed away, Sunday, November 12, 2023.

He was born August 12, 1923, a son of the late Leroy A., Sr., and Mida I. (Combs) Conklin.  For many years, Leroy held a position with Foodland in Utica.

Leroy was a gentle and kind man who enjoyed the simple things in life; he loved western movies and country music. At one time he was active with the senior program of the ARC where he retired.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including, Linda Bennett, many close friends, including, Colleen and Norman Martin, Mariam Doud, Eve Meyers, and the entire staff of Kilbane, ICF at Upstate Caring Partners.

Leroy will be sadly missed by all who loved him.

Mr. Conklin's funeral and celebration of life will be held on Monday morning, November 20 at Child's Chapel at Forest Hill Cemetery, 2201 Oneida Street, Utica at 10:00.
