Marc J. Cohen, 59, of Utica, passed away Friday June 14, 2013 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, with his family by his side. He was born July 20, 1953, in Utica, the son of the late Moses and Gloria Gould Cohen and was educated in Utica schools. For many years, Marc was employed as an Inspector for Grumman's Aerospace in Worcester, MA, prior to his retirement. He is survived by three brothers, Alan (Deborah) Cohen of Oneida, Jay Cohen of Utica and Lee Cohen and his partner, Demetrio Chapa of Palm Springs, CA; three nephews, Andrew (Carrie) Cohen and Ryan Cohen, both of Utica and Christopher Mudge of Oneida. Marc was predeceased by his sister, Rhonda Cohen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his services on Monday afternoon at 4:30 at the Bentz Funeral Service, Inc., 470 French Rd, Utica/New Hartford, with Rabbi Cassi Kail officiating. Private interment will be in Jonathan Lodge IOOF Cemetery, Whitesboro. Shiva will be observed Monday and Tuesday from 7-9 pm at 172 Ridge Rd, Utica.
