Mary Esther "Angel" Whaley went home to the Lord on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, with her family and friends at her side.

Mary was born on July 27, 1957, the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Monroe) Whaley.

Mary is survived by her sister, Helen Fountain who was always there for her; and a niece, Melissa Baldwin. She is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and many special friends, including Joan and Fred Kulaga.

Mary was a very loving person. She made the world a better and happier place.

In keeping with Mary's wishes there will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday afternoon, December 19, at Historic Old St. John's Church, 240 Bleecker Street, Utica, NY, at 1:30.  Burial will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery in Ogdensburg, NY at the convenience of the family.
