Obituary

Milton H. McIntyre, 81, of Brookfield, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center, with his family by his side. He was born April 24, 1929, in East Hamilton, the son of the late Francis and Bertha Lamb McIntyre and was educated in Brookfield schools. Mr. McIntyre was a lifelong carpenter and mason, working with the United Brotherhood of Carpenter's and Joiner's of America and the Empire State Carpenter's Union. He also built many houses over the years for family and personal friends. Milt enjoyed visiting with family and friends and always had a treat to share with them. He also loved to research his family history, especially his Native American side. He is survived by a daughter, Roberta Pattee of Satsuma, FL and Fairbanks, AK; a brother, Hubert McIntyre of Brookfield; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Francis, Norman and Russell; and two sisters, Jean and Dorothy. Graveside services at Sherburne Corners Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, Waterville.
