Nina A. Lansing

Nina A. (Cariglio) Lansing, 89, of Sauquoit, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Wynn Hospital, with her family by her side.

She was born February 8, 1936, in Utica, the daughter of the late Michael and Angelina Sasone Cariglio and was a graduate of Proctor High School.  On June 21, 1958, at St. Paul's Church, Whitesboro, she married Harold A. Lansing, a loving union of 65 years until his passing on November 6, 2023.  For 17 years, she was employed by Utica National Insurance Company.

Nina was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner of St. Patrick's & St. Anthony's Church in Chadwicks.  She enjoyed spending time and going out to dinner with her family, friends and church family.

She is survived by three children, Scott (Karen) Lansing of Utica, Susan (David) Shepardson of New Hartford and David (Joan) Lansing of Whitesboro; and two grandchildren, Scott (Tori) Lansing, Jr. and Grace Lansing.  Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 3 at 11 am at St. Patrick's & St. Anthony's Church, Chadwicks.  Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.  There are no calling hours.
