Paul L. Davis, 78, of Leonardsville, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center. He was born October 14, 1931, in Leonardsville, the son of the late Lyle and Katherine Schrag Davis. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. On July 20, 1985, in Liverpool, he married Jean Janicki Ferrucci. For many years, Mr. Davis was the Quality Control Foreman at Chicago Pneumatic in Utica, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Leonardsville Volunteer Fire Department and the Johnson-Rogers American Legion Post #1492. He is survived by his wife, Jean; his son, Steven Davis of Ansonia, CT; his daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Timothy Frank of Odessa, NY; three step children and their spouse, Kim and Joseph Kehoe of Langhorne, PA, Sally and Rob Syke of Derry, NH and Sue and Chuck Heron of Little Falls, NY; his brother, Edmond Davis of Brookfield, NY; and six grandchildren, Patrick, Caroline, Brandon, Benjamin, Lindsay and Matthew. Private services will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, Waterville.
