Rochelle Mayer, of 1 Kavod Road, New Hartford, entered into rest on May 30, 2017. She was born September 26, 1941, in Brooklyn. Her parents, Robert and Myra Levin Mayer loved her very much and made many sacrifices for her, including relocating to Florida for a period of time. Rochelle resided at Maple ICF for over 20 years and was well liked by her housemates and staff. She enjoyed participating in celebrations of her Jewish faith. Rochelle was sweet, petite and quiet and will be remembered fondly for her gentle, angelic nature. Graveside services will be Friday at 1 pm at House of Isreal Cemetery, Wood Road, Whitesboro with Rabbi Cassi Kail officiating. Arrangements are with Bentz Funeral Service, Inc. New Hartford.
