Shari Ann Mittleman Yudess, 77, passed away in Apopka, FL on June 17, 2024.

Shari was born in Utica, NY, the only child of Hymen and Dorothy (Goldbas) Mittleman.  She attended local schools and graduated from Utica free Academy in 1965.  Following her graduation, Shari began a long and successful career in retail sales, specializing in women's clothing.  Her last and longest employment was for Bloomingdale's in the Orlando Florida area.  She married and ultimately received a divorce from Ronald Yudess.

Shari was predeceased by her parents; and by her cousin, Sorelei Ellis Feldman.  She is survived by her first cousins, Sheila Ellis Cupp, Wilma Ellis Levine, Laurie G. Knoebel, Tracy G. Lareaux, Esther G. Tannenbaum and Steven, Jonathan, David and Joshua Goldbas.   In her last, most difficult days, Shari received exceptional and loving care from Sheila Cupp and from Sheila's daughter, Licia Galinsky.

Shari will be remembered for her elegant appearance and her keen fashion sense.  She was a loving family member, a loyal friend and a devoted adherent to her Jewish faith.  She was a  hard worker.  She will also be remembered for the tender and compassionate care that she gave to all dogs, especially her own, Hannah Rose and Devorah.

Burial will take place at the Temple Beth El Cemetery in Whitesboro, NY, on June 25, 2024, at 11 o'clock am, with Rabbi Gustavo Geier officiating.

May her soul be taken up into the bond of eternal life.
