Theresa A. Taylor, 66, of Remsen, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 12, 2014 at her home. She was born February 4, 1948, in New Hartford, the daughter of the late Joseph and Jane Brown Steppello and was educated in Utica schools. For many years she worked as a waitress and later worked at Holland Farms as a clerk. Terry was a beloved sister and aunt and was like a grandmother to her great nieces and great nephews. She was very kind hearted and loved by many. She is survived by five sisters and brothers, JoAnn Steppello-Jones and Fred of Union Springs, Mary Cardillo of New York Mills, Ralph Steppello and Paige of Deltona, FL, Patricia Horn and James of Utica and Joseph Steppello and Judy of DeLand, FL; her special friend, Charles Lynch of Middleville; a special cousin, Louis Steppello of Utica; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Terry was predeceased by a sister, Cornelia Kistner. Per her wishes, services will be private at the Bentz Funeral Service, Inc., 470 French Road, Utica/New Hartford, with Rev. Mark Kaminski officiating.
