Thomas F. DeVito, Jr., 69, of Utica, passed away January 31, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He was born September 15, 1945, in Utica, the son of the late Thomas F., Sr. and Mary Rose Scalzo DeVito and was educated at UFA. Thomas was employed with his father at DeVito's Bakery in Utica. He later worked for many years as a landscaper and most recently was employed by Price Chopper. Tom is survived by his sister, Amy DeVito of Utica; two brothers, Dr. Ralph DeVito of Branford, CT and Carl DeVito of Rochester; a niece, Katie and a nephew, Marc. He was predeceased by his brother, Paul DeVito in February of 2014. Per the families wishes there will be no services or calling hours. Arrangements are with the Bentz Funeral Service, Inc., 13 Oxford Road, New Hartford.
