Born December 27, 1928, in West Winfield, she was the daughter of the late Elmer L. and Mabel Stuber Woodworth, and was a graduate of Waterville Central School Class of 1946. On April 28, 1951, at St. Bernard's Church, Waterville, Anne married Carl S. Jasek. He passed away on May 14, 2003.

Anne began working at the age of 16 as a switchboard operator for the Unadilla Telephone Company in Waterville, which later was known as Con-Tel and then G.T.E. She worked her way up to Business Office Supervisor, retiring in 1991 after 46 years.

Anne was an active member of the Independent Tele Communications Pioneer Association and was President of the Huntley Cemetery Association for many years. Her community and history interests included the Town of Marshall Historical Society, the Town of Paris Historical Society and the Town of Marshall Zoning Board of Appeals. Anne also volunteered her time for Hospice & Palliative Care.

Anne was very proud of her numerous flower beds and spent many peaceful hours caring for their upkeep. Especially lovely were her yellow old fashion roses.

Besides her parents and husband, Anne was predeceased by three sisters, Ruth Tabor. Emma Houseknecht and Harriet Gigliotti.

Funeral services will be Friday at 12 noon at the Mark C. Bentz Funeral Service, Inc., 13 Oxford Road, New Hartford with Rev. Ed Townsend officiating. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 am -12 pm. Interment will follow in Waterville Cemetery, Waterville.
