Christopher Gordon Obituary

Christopher J. Gordon, 42, passed away Wednesday April 6, 2022 at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse after a long and courageous battle with Leukemia.

Chris was born February 8, 1980 in Utica to Kevin Gordon and Jacquelin Asaro Gordon. He attended New Hartford High School obtaining his GED. At the time of his passing, Chris worked at Sermar Management in Rochester, representing the Syracuse area.
Chris was also a former New Hartford Volunteer Fireman.

Chris was an avid boater and could often be found cruising Oneida Lake. Over the years he invited many friends and family to spend time on the water with him.

Chris was predeceased by his father, Kevin Gordon of New Hartford who passed in 2014. He is survived by his mother, Jacquelin Gordon of Constantia, who along with his girlfriend, Brittany Hanson of Watertown, were at Chris's hospital bedside for many months, ensuring his comfort and advocating for his care until his passing. He is also survived by his children, Michael, Amelia, Kevin and Erik; his brother, David Gordon and Deanna DiNardo; his sister, Karen (Chris) Bishop; his brother, Kevin Gordon; his niece, Genevieve Gordon; and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and nursing staff who showed such compassion to Chris on 10H at Upstate University Medical Center.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 5-7 pm at the Mark C. Bentz Funeral Service, Inc., 13 Oxford Road, New Hartford.
