Pauline Norman Obituary

Pauline M. Norman, 88, of Westmoreland, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the Presbyterian Home for Central NY, with her daughter Jackie by her side. She was born February 25, 1919, in Utica, the daughter of the late Orlando N. and Laura E. Frazier Bush and was a graduate of Whitesboro High School. On April 12, 1939, in Whitesboro, she married John Siedsma Norman. Along with her husband John, and son Bill, she operated their family dairy farm in Westmoreland until 1976, when Bill took over the operation. Mrs. Norman also worked as the Town of Westmoreland Welfare Officer for over 20 years. Mr. Norman passed away on September 1, 2004. Mrs. Norman was an active parishioner of the Church of the Annunciation in Clark Mills and was a member of the Westlander Senior Citizens, the Oneida County Holstein Association and the Oneida County Cooperative Extension. Pauline was a devoted wife whose life centered around her family. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jacquelyn (Jackie) and Ernest Lince of Waterville; a son and daughter-in-law, William (Bill) and Bambi Norman of Taberg; a sister, Millicent Waddell of Oriskany; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Miller. The funeral will be Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, 210 E. Main St., Waterville, with Rev. Thomas Servatius officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Westmoreland. Calling hours are Wednesday from 1-3, prior to the service. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of the Presbyterian Home for Central NY, especially the Willow Unit and also to Dr. Christopher Clark, for all their wonderful care and compassion.
